Why Registration Matters

You deserve protection for your investment and peace of mind. That’s why we offer extended warranty coverage on eligible matched products, ensuring you get the best coverage on your entire HVAC system right from the start.

While most Intertherm products enjoy a standard 1-year warranty right out of the box, you can easily extend that coverage by registering your products.

For split systems, a complete Intertherm AHRI match system must be installed for extended warranty terms to apply. For split system equipment not registered or matched, the standard warranty still applies.

Intertherm does not certify safety or performance when third-party indoor coils are used with our outdoor equipment. Please consult with the third-party manufacturer for safety and performance certifications when mixing or matching equipment in this way. Here’s what you need to know about warranty coverage offered for Intertherm equipment.
Effective for A2L (R-454B) equipment manufactured after January 1, 2025

Standard 1-Year Limited Parts Warranty & 5-Year Limited Compressor Warranty

Intertherm offers a Standard Limited Warranty of one year for parts and five years for compressors. However, when registered within 60 days of occupancy, extended warranty timeframes apply.

Additional Heat Exchanger Parts Coverage for Gas/Oil Furnaces & Gas Package Units

Below 90% AFUE furnaces and gas/electric packaged systems: 10-year limited heat exchanger warranty
90+% AFUE furnaces: 20-year limited heat exchanger warranty

Air Conditioners & Heat Pumps

Coverage for this equipment includes the standard 1-year limited parts and 5-year limited compressor warranty. If registered within 60 days of installation, coverage is extended to 5-year limited parts and 10-year limited compressor.

Packaged Systems

Coverage for this equipment includes the standard 1-year limited parts and 5-year limited compressor warranty. If registered, within 60 days of installation, coverage is extended to 10-year limited parts including the compressor.

Furnaces

Coverage for this equipment includes the standard 1-year limited parts warranty. If registered within 60 days of installation or occupancy, coverage is extended to 5-year limited parts.
